Terms of use
Last updated September 29, 2026. By using Radon by ZIP you agree to these terms.
Information, not professional advice
EPA’s radon zones describe the predicted average for a whole county. Homes next door to each other can have very different radon levels, and EPA says the map should not be used to decide whether a single home needs testing. The only way to know your level is to test. This site is general information, not medical or engineering advice.
Tools and estimates
Our calculators and lookups give estimates based on the public sources named on each page. They can be wrong for your situation, and the underlying rules and data can change. Check the original source and, where it matters, a qualified professional before you act.
